Detailed Itinerary: Real Mekong Delta 3 Day Experience

Day01: Saigon – Can Giuoc – Can Duoc – Gocong – Tan Hoa – Xom Ray – Tan Thanh – My Tho – Bentre (L/D)
7:30AM. Pick you at your hotel in Saigon and drive to Mekong Delta.
9:00AM Visit Can Duoc wet market – Stunning rural informal setting market to see all fresh fram products and super friendly market goers
10:00AM – 11:45AM: The highlight is to visit Tan Hoa village for scooter ride ( you are on the back of our safe driver – Safe Helmet on) to go on small village paths covering by Coconut trees.

Real Mekong- Walking on "Monkey Bridge"

Giving oppurtunity to take many pictures in rural village of Xom Ray and Trai Ca. You will learn our rice process from start to finish. Visit Rice husking factory.
12:00 at noon. home cooked lunch with unlimited drinks
1:00 PM – 2:00PM Transfer to Mytho ‘s dock for another highlight of the day is our boat trip.
Passing many floating fish farms and islands in upper mekong river to Bentre.
Transfer to smaller sampan to wind though green , lush Cong Chua cannal – Amazon liked creek cannal shading by water coconut and mangrove trees.
Visit another village where you can see their fruit gardens 
3:00PM-5:00PM. Leaving Ben Tre on backroad highway for your homestay.
7:00PM: Help family prepared your dinner.

Day02: Ben Tre – Dong Phu Cannal – Binh Hoa Phuoc – Cai Thia – Coco village – Cai Be  Banam Cannal – Vinh Long – Cantho (B/L)

Real Mekong Delta - Gondola at Ba Nam Canal

7:00AM – 9:00AM: Simple Breafast at your homestay. Transfer to Coco village. Hop on the boat to go along Dong Phu Mangrove cannal to Cai Thia village
9:00AM – 12:00AM Visit riverside family and learn how to make rice paper and you can make one by yourself!!
Taking bicycle ride though lush tropical orchards. You can make some stops along the way as you wish to take the best pictures of Cai Thia – Cai Be – Hoa Loc – CoCo village , best known for Guavas, Orange, Mango, Mandarin, Banana, Jackfruit etc...
Our bike ride will reach to another jungle house to welcomed by another friendly host to show you how to make and enjoy your Banh Tieu ( tapioca & rice flowers white sesame donuts).
Say good bye this family after your cup of Jasmine warm tea and our friendly conversation to understand about their village and how they lead their simple life.
12:00- 12:40PM. Back to your boat to wind along  Co Chien river ( another Tributary of Mekong river) to Binh Hoa Phuoc island for your lunch.
1:40PM – 2:40PM: Back to your boat for a short transfer to Ba nam natural cannal for hand row sampan.
3:00PM – 4:30PM: Your Boat trip will be finished in Cai Be. Pick up and overland on Highway 1 to Cantho City. Capital city of mekong delta.
5:00PM: Check in at the Hotel. Free on your own to explore the city.

Day03:  Cantho – Phong Dien Floating Market – Rau Ram Cannal – Cai Rang Floating Market – An Binh Market – Cantho Bridge ( Mekong Lower River) Mythuan Bridge ( Upper Mekong River) – Vinh Trang Pagoda  – Saigon (B/L)

5:00AM: Depart for Phong Dien Floating Market.

5:20AM – 8:30AM: Get on our private long tail boat to visit Phong Dien Floating market.

What you need to do is to sit back on your boat, enjoy the morning coffee served by the local coffee boat and watch the whole world of trading going on from boats to boats .Phong Dien is smaller in scale and is more of a retailed one while Cai Rang is bigger and is more of a wholesaled one.

Real Mekong Delta - Paddy Rice Field

As our boat edges through the market, you will be surely driven back to the yester-centuries by the sound of bargaining, rowing, motoring mixed with the sound from the coffee boat, meat boat, grocery boat, ice boats…. Saying goodbye to Phong Dien floating market, our boat will speed up through many channels  - Rau Ram cannal is one of the Mekong Rivers cannal tretching along rural villages and arrive in Cai Rang floating market (3 km from Can Tho)- it is much bigger and is more of wholesale market with many more big and motored boats. And this will complete a special picture of around a million floating traders in this region who have been happily living a floating life and earn their living on some 50,000km of waterways in the Mekong Delta.
Stop to try the freshest pineapple before we get in land for An Binh wet market. Our driver is waiting to take you back to your hotel for healthy buffet breakfast.
10:30AM. Check out Hotel and say good bye Cantho to go over Cantho suspension bridge then to Mythuan bridge to Cai Lay to visit Cao dai Temple then to get to Mytho.
12:00 at Noon. Stop for Lunch at Hu Tieu My Tho – local specialty ( My tho pork noodle soup)
1:00PM: Short drive to Vinh Trang Pagoda to visit the biggest pagoda in Mekong delta with Giant Buddha Statues of Past – Present and Future.

2:00PM – 04:30PM: Leaving for Saigon on Saigon – Trung Luong freeway. Services will end after we drop you off at your hotel in Saigon by 4:30PM.

Important Notice:

1. Proper shoes or sandals are required for this trip as you have to get on and off the boat quite a few times
2. We will visit a local Cao Dai Temple on this tour. Wearing shorts is ok, but not too short. Also, you are advised to get your shoulders covered while visiting the temple
3. Some parts of the Mekong Delta are not that green during the dry season which goes from March to May
4. You can leave your heavy backpacks in our vehicle with our driver and It will be safe while doing a day tour's activities. However, We are not responsible for any lost of money, wallet, smart phone, credit cards and all valuable stuffs
5. Time on tour can be flutuated & flexible depending on local ferry and traffic
